8 of 12 evidence records used by this briefing have changed or are no longer available; the briefing template or model has changed. Regeneration will preserve this version in history.

1. Executive summary and decision snapshot

Stephen Webber, publishing as Proof Street under TMMW LLC, requests $5,000 for a two-article, open-access educational pilot, Zcash in the privacy stack. The articles would: (1) compare Zcash shielding with ZK, FHE, MPC, and trusted execution environments; and (2) explain selective disclosure, including what viewing keys and payment disclosure can and cannot demonstrate for exchanges, auditors, and regulators. [1][5]

The revised proposal is a standalone pilot rather than the originally proposed six-part, $15,000 series. It has two publication-based milestones, targeted for August 17 and September 21, 2026. Any follow-on work would require a separate proposal. [5][6]

Decision snapshot: The narrower $5,000 pilot directly addresses the committee’s prior concern about paying a substantial amount for a small number of articles. The central remaining question is value: whether specialist, reference-oriented articles distributed through Proof Street and a proposed community mirror will produce enough practical ecosystem benefit despite limited demonstrated audience reach and no documented impact metrics. [4][6]

2. Applicant and team track record

The applicant is Stephen Webber, serving as writer, editor, researcher, publisher, and community coordinator; no additional team members are listed. [1]

Applicant-stated relevant experience:

  • Independent journalist and technical writer covering privacy-preserving computation through Proof Street. [1]
  • Prior roles in product marketing at OpenZeppelin, head of content at Primev, and senior technical writer at Gelato. [1]
  • States that his research process uses primary sources, specifications, ZIPs, papers, and code, translated into accessible prose for technical non-cryptographers. [1]
  • States that Proof Street has published weekly since April 2026 and has included practitioner interviews and coverage involving several named organizations and researchers. [1]

Committee members characterized the applicant’s existing articles as comparatively technical, well researched, and distinct from promotional cryptocurrency content. [6]

Evidence limitation: No independently documented readership, engagement, citation, adoption, prior Zcash contributions, or completed-grant outcomes were supplied. The capability case is therefore strongest on claimed professional background and committee impressions of writing quality, rather than measurable delivery or distribution performance. [1][6]

3. Proposal scope, milestones, budget, technical approach, and dependencies

Scope

  • Article one: a cross-field comparison of Zcash shielding with FHE, MPC, TEEs, and related privacy-computation approaches. [1]
  • Article two: selective disclosure, focused on viewing keys and payment disclosure in compliance-oriented contexts. [1]
  • The work is intended as citable, linkable reference material for developers, evaluators, and newcomers. [1]

Milestones and payment structure

  • Milestone 1: publication of the cross-field comparison, targeted for August 17, 2026. [5]
  • Milestone 2: publication of the selective-disclosure article, targeted for September 21, 2026. [5]
  • Each milestone is to be paid upon publication. [5]

Budget

  • Total requested funding: $5,000. [1][5]
  • No line-item budget, hours estimate, per-article allocation, editorial-review plan, or formal acceptance criteria beyond publication is supplied. No grounded evidence found for detailed budget justification. [1][5]

Technical approach and dependencies The applicant frames Zcash as the settlement and confidentiality layer, while treating transport and identity as adjacent layers. [4] The proposal contemplates mirroring articles to ZecHub or another community hub, reducing reliance on Proof Street’s own audience. [1][4]

Inference: A community-hub mirror is a meaningful distribution mitigation, but it is not equivalent to evidence that the material will be discovered, used, or kept current.

4. Community discussion, arguments, responses, and resolution

Strongest arguments for

  • Committee discussion recognized the articles as more technical and research-oriented than typical Zcash promotional content. [6]
  • The topics may address genuine evaluator-facing questions, particularly the practical boundaries of selective disclosure and how Zcash compares with other privacy technologies. [1][4]
  • The applicant responded to distribution concerns by proposing open-access publication and a mirror through ZecHub or another community channel. [1][4]

Strongest arguments against

  • Several committee members questioned whether the original cost was justified for a limited set of articles and whether cross-field comparisons provide practical value where Zcash has no clear current role. [6]
  • Members noted that Proof Street was new, difficult to find, and likely to have limited readership; another concern was the absence of prior visible Zcash-community contributions. [6]
  • The underlying value proposition competes with freely available technical and community content, making differentiation and distribution critical. [6][12]

Applicant response and resolution The committee invited a smaller standalone pilot at proportional cost. The applicant accepted, reducing the request from six articles for $15,000 to two articles for $5,000, with future work explicitly not assumed. [4][5][6]

This resolves the scope-and-cost concern in part: committee members can now assess two discrete outputs rather than committing to a six-part series. It does not resolve the core disagreement over expected readership, distinctiveness, and ecosystem value. [5][6]

5. Relevant precedents and documented outcomes

Zcash Privacy Academy — declined, $7,000. This is the closest educational-content precedent. The committee declined an online course covering privacy, shielded transactions, viewing keys, and Zcash use cases because it saw overlap with existing resources, insufficient audience evidence, and no demonstrated reason the materials would achieve meaningful outcomes. [12] This is directly relevant because the present request likewise relies on educational content and must demonstrate why its format, audience, and distribution are meaningfully differentiated.

Using Zcash in an internet freedom crowdfunding campaign — approved at a $50,000 tier. The committee supported the Tor Project initiative based on strong privacy alignment, an established partner, a defined campaign mechanism, and access to Tor Browser’s stated 4.8 million daily active users. [9] This is relevant mainly as a contrast: it shows committee support for privacy-aligned outreach where the distribution channel and audience are already concrete and credible.

6. Material risks and execution considerations

  • Audience and utilization risk: Proof Street’s limited visibility was the dominant committee concern. A mirror may improve availability, but no success measure establishes whether the articles will be read or used. [4][6]
  • Value differentiation risk: The project must establish that cross-field comparisons and selective-disclosure analysis offer value beyond existing Zcash explanations and general privacy content. [1][6][12]
  • Accuracy and maintenance risk: The topics involve technical and compliance-sensitive claims. The supplied evidence does not identify subject-matter reviewers, fact-checking procedures, or a process for updating articles as Zcash technology or regulatory practice evolves. No grounded evidence found.
  • Milestone-verification risk: Publication is a clear binary deliverable, but publication alone may not establish technical accuracy, usefulness, mirror placement, or community acceptance. [5]
  • Single-person delivery risk: All research, writing, editing, publication, and coordination depend on one individual. [1]

7. Material gaps and questions for the applicant

  1. What are the exact acceptance criteria for each article beyond publication—for example, technical review, fact checking, accessibility, and confirmation of community-hub mirroring?
  2. Who, if anyone, will review factual claims about shielding, viewing keys, payment disclosure, circuit-failure implications, and compliance limitations before publication?
  3. What concrete distribution commitment exists from ZecHub or another named community hub, including format, timing, and responsibility for maintaining the mirror?
  4. What measurable indicators would demonstrate that the pilot created value—such as readership, referrals, citations in community discussions, developer/evaluator use, or structured feedback?
  5. How will the two articles clearly avoid duplicating existing Zcash educational resources, especially material already available through community channels?
  6. Please provide a concise budget allocation between the two articles and explain what work is covered by the $5,000 request.

8. Neutral decision considerations

Committee members may weigh the request as a small, bounded test of specialized educational content, not as a commitment to fund a continuing editorial series. The two-piece structure, publication-based milestones, and $5,000 total reduce financial exposure relative to the original proposal. [5][6]

The strongest case for funding is that the applicant proposes technically oriented reference material on questions not fully addressed by basic Zcash explainers, especially selective disclosure and comparative privacy-tool selection. [1][6]

The strongest case for caution is that the proposal currently offers limited evidence of distribution, audience demand, independent technical validation, or measurable impact. The committee’s prior rejection of a similarly priced educational proposal indicates that useful content alone may not be sufficient without a credible audience and differentiation case. [6][12]

Inference: If considering support, evaluators could tie each payment to published articles that meet pre-agreed quality-review and community-distribution conditions, while treating engagement evidence as an informative pilot outcome rather than a guaranteed result.

1. Executive summary and decision snapshot

Stephen Webber, founder and editor of Proof Street, requests $15,000 for an open six-part long-form educational series, Zcash in the privacy stack. The series would explain shielded Zcash and compare it with zero-knowledge proofs, fully homomorphic encryption, multiparty computation, and trusted execution environments. Planned subjects include sync and scaling, post-quantum migration, circuit-failure implications, and selective disclosure. Articles would be open access on Proof Street and mirrored to a Zcash community resource such as ZecHub. [1][4]

The proposed deliverable is intellectually differentiated from generic promotional content: it targets technically literate non-cryptographers and proposes use of primary sources, protocol specifications, ZIPs, repositories, and research. [1]

The central decision issue is value relative to reach and price. Committee members recognized possible technical quality, but raised substantial doubts about Proof Street’s discoverability, current readership, the practical value of cross-field comparisons, and whether six articles justify $15,000. [5]

Status: The request remains open; no funding decision or delivery outcome is documented. [5]

2. Applicant and team track record

Documented fact: The sole proposed contributor is Stephen Webber, who describes himself as an independent journalist and technical writer, founder and editor of Proof Street, with prior roles in product marketing at OpenZeppelin, head of content at Primev, and senior technical writer at Gelato. He would conduct all research, writing, editing, publication, and community coordination. No additional team members are proposed. [1]

Documented fact: A committee member characterized the applicant’s existing articles as well researched and technically different from much ordinary cryptocurrency coverage. [5]

Limitation: No grounded evidence found of prior ZCG grants, completed comparable Zcash publications, independently documented readership, audience demographics, distribution partnerships, or measurable outcomes from Proof Street. This does not establish their absence; it limits assessment of likely reach and delivery performance.

Inference: A single-author structure can make editorial consistency and accountability straightforward, but creates concentration risk: research, technical verification, editing, publishing, and distribution all depend on one person. [1]

3. Proposal scope, milestones, budget, technical approach, and dependencies

Scope. The six-part series would place Zcash’s shielded settlement and confidentiality layer in the broader privacy-computation landscape. It would compare shielding with FHE, MPC, and TEEs and discuss:

  • Sync and scaling, including Tachyon and oblivious synchronization;
  • Post-quantum migration;
  • What a shielded chain can and cannot prove following a circuit fault; and
  • Selective-disclosure limits for compliance and confidential finance. [1][4]

Technical framing. In response to community feedback, the applicant clarified that the work focuses on settlement and confidentiality, while treating transport and identity as adjacent layers. Sync/Tachyon would bridge settlement and transport; selective disclosure would bridge settlement and identity. The intended audience is evaluators rather than first-time users seeking a product walkthrough. [4]

Funding and milestones. The request is $15,000. [1] No grounded evidence found of a line-item budget, payment schedule, article-by-article milestone dates, acceptance criteria beyond publication, technical-review process, or readership targets.

Dependencies. Publication depends on Proof Street and an intended mirror to a Zcash community resource “such as ZecHub.” [1] No grounded evidence found that a mirror host has committed to accepting, reviewing, or promoting the material.

4. Community discussion, arguments, responses, and resolution

Strongest arguments in favor. Supportive committee comments emphasize that the proposed work appears more technical and research-oriented than common market or trading-focused cryptocurrency content. One member viewed quality Zcash writing as worth encouraging, even while acknowledging that the subject is niche. [5]

Strongest arguments against. The most decision-relevant objections are:

  • $15,000 may be high for six articles;
  • Cross-field comparisons may have limited practical value where Zcash lacks a clear role;
  • Proof Street appears difficult to find, potentially limiting readership and ecosystem value; and
  • The applicant’s prior visible community contributions and differentiated distribution strategy were not established. [5]

Applicant clarification. The applicant directly answered the concern about layer ownership by narrowing the project to settlement/confidentiality and identifying how two proposed topics touch transport and identity. [4]

Resolved concern. The conceptual boundary of the series is clearer: it is not a general user-onboarding or full privacy-stack implementation guide. [4]

Unresolved disagreement. The principal disagreement remains whether technically strong, open educational material with uncertain audience reach provides sufficient value at the requested price. The applicant response cited does not address budget composition, projected reach, distribution, or outcome measurement. [4][5]

5. Relevant precedents and documented outcomes

CipherScan — approved, $58,800 requested. This is relevant because it shows committee support for a technically oriented public-good project when deliverables were refined in response to feedback and the committee could see a working product. The grant was approved unanimously after modifications, and records indicate milestones 2 and 3 were completed. Its relevance is limited: it delivered software and infrastructure rather than editorial education. [9]

Zcash Privacy Academy — declined, $7,000 requested. This is the closest educational precedent. It proposed a privacy and Zcash course with user rewards, but was rejected unanimously. Committee rationale stressed overlap with existing resources, lack of a demonstrated audience, and uncertainty that additional materials alone would create engagement or meaningful outcomes. This directly bears on the current proposal’s reach and differentiation questions. [10]

Tor Project crowdfunding campaign — approved at a $50,000 tier. This is relevant as an example of funding being tied to a clearly articulated distribution channel and privacy-aligned audience: Zcash was positioned as a donation option for a campaign distributed to Tor Browser’s stated 4.8 million daily active users. The original request was $250,000, while the documented committee approval was for the $50,000 tier. [8]

6. Material risks and execution considerations

  • Audience and distribution risk: Committee members questioned whether Proof Street’s limited discoverability would constrain readership. Open licensing and mirroring improve reuse potential, but no documented dissemination plan or audience target establishes likely reach. [1][5]
  • Value-for-money risk: The request equates to $2,500 per planned article. Inference: This may be reasonable for research-intensive technical writing, but cannot be evaluated from the supplied evidence because there is no budget breakdown, expected article length, or review effort. [1]
  • Technical-accuracy risk: The planned subjects include complex and potentially sensitive protocol topics. No grounded evidence found of named technical reviewers, fact-checking commitments, or a correction policy. [1]
  • Scope risk: Comparisons across Zcash, FHE, MPC, and TEEs could become broad or abstract. The applicant’s layer clarification reduces this risk but does not establish article outlines or concrete decision-use cases. [4]
  • Single-contributor dependency: Delivery and quality assurance rest with one proposed individual. [1]

7. Material gaps and questions for the applicant

  1. What are the six article titles, intended lengths, publication dates, and acceptance criteria for each milestone?
  2. Please provide a line-item budget explaining how the $15,000 is allocated across research, drafting, editing, technical review, publishing, and distribution.
  3. What independently verifiable indicators describe Proof Street’s present audience: readership, subscribers, referral sources, or engagement with comparable technical articles?
  4. What distribution commitments or promotion plan will ensure that the articles reach developers, evaluators, and practitioners beyond Proof Street’s existing audience?
  5. Who will conduct technical review of articles concerning protocol behavior, circuit faults, post-quantum migration, and selective disclosure?
  6. Which community resource has agreed to mirror the series, and what form of publication or promotion is expected?
  7. What measurable outcomes would demonstrate value: completed articles, external citations, community reuse, readership, developer engagement, or feedback from intended users?

8. Neutral decision considerations

The request offers a defined, open-access educational output with a potentially distinctive technical angle, and the applicant has clarified the project’s intended position within the privacy stack. [1][4]

The decision turns less on whether articles can be produced than on whether they will create ecosystem value commensurate with $15,000. Current evidence supports a possible quality case but does not substantiate reach, distribution, independent technical review, detailed milestones, or budget efficiency. [1][5]

Inference: If the committee wishes to preserve the proposal’s technical-education potential while reducing uncertainty, it could evaluate whether funding conditions should make staged payment contingent on a detailed editorial plan, technical review, confirmed mirroring/distribution, and measurable publication or readership evidence. This is a consideration, not a recommendation for approval or rejection.

1. Executive summary and decision snapshot

Stephen Webber, identified as founder and editor of Proof Street, requests $15,000 for “Zcash in the privacy stack,” an open six-part long-form explainer series. The series would place Zcash alongside privacy-preserving-computation approaches including fully homomorphic encryption, multi-party computation, and trusted execution environments; it would also address Zcash sync/scaling issues, post-quantum migration, circuit-failure implications, and selective disclosure. Planned publication is on Proof Street, with mirroring to a community hub such as ZecHub. [1][4][8]

The central decision question is whether six specialized articles, at $2,500 per planned installment if evenly allocated, offer sufficient direct value to Zcash users, developers, or ecosystem positioning. This is an educational and communications request rather than a product, integration, or research deliverable. Inference: Its value depends chiefly on editorial quality, technical accuracy, audience reach, and whether the work fills an identified information gap rather than duplicating existing resources.

The proposal remains open for committee consideration. A committee member expressed skepticism that the requested amount is high for a small number of articles and questioned the practical value of discussing Zcash in areas where it lacks a clear current presence. [4]

2. Applicant and team track record

The named applicant is Stephen Webber, described as founder and editor of Proof Street. [1]

This role is relevant to a writing-led proposal and is the strongest documented indication of editorial capability in the supplied evidence. However, no grounded evidence is supplied of Webber’s prior published work, readership, technical-review process, prior Zcash contributions, prior grants, delivery history, or collaborators.

No grounded evidence found that the proposed series would receive review by subject-matter experts for the technical areas it intends to cover, including FHE, MPC, TEEs, post-quantum migration, sync/scaling, and selective disclosure.

3. Proposal scope, milestones, budget, technical approach, and dependencies

Scope. The documented plan is an open, six-part long-form explainer series that positions Zcash within the broader privacy-preserving-computation landscape. Topics cited by the committee include shielding compared with FHE, MPC, and TEEs; Tachyon and oblivious sync; post-quantum migration; circuit-failure implications; and limits of selective disclosure for compliance. [4][8]

Funding. The request is $15,000. [1]

Milestones and payment structure. No grounded evidence found for article-level milestones, delivery dates, acceptance criteria, payment tranches, or a budget breakdown. The six-part scope is documented, but the evidence does not establish whether all six pieces must be delivered before payment or what distinguishes satisfactory completion from publication alone. [4][8]

Technical approach. The proposal is explanatory rather than implementation-oriented. No grounded evidence found for a methodology governing technical sourcing, peer review, correction handling, or how the articles will differentiate current Zcash capabilities from future or comparative technologies.

Dependencies. Publication on Proof Street is planned, and mirroring to a community hub “like ZecHub” is proposed. [4] No grounded evidence found of an agreement with ZecHub or another distributor, or of commitments from Zcash technical contributors to review factual claims.

4. Community and committee signals

The applicant posted the proposal to the Zcash Community Forum; the supplied record shows 87 views, three posts, and one reply at the time captured. [8] This indicates initial public visibility but does not establish community demand or endorsement.

The applicant stated that they were new to the forum and initially needed permission to create the required forum topic. [7] That is procedural context, not evidence against delivery capability.

The strongest committee signal is caution on value for money and strategic relevance. The proposal remained open after discussion, rather than receiving a final disposition. [4] In particular, a committee member questioned whether Zcash has a sufficiently clear present role in some of the comparative topics to justify the proposed editorial focus. [4]

5. Relevant precedents and documented outcomes

Zcash Privacy Academy Course — declined, $7,000. This is the closest supplied educational precedent: it proposed a Zcash-focused online course covering financial privacy, Zcash privacy mechanisms, secure use, and completion incentives. [28][29] The committee minutes document concern that parts of the proposal overlapped with ZecHub’s work, and the proposal was declined. [29] Relevance: this suggests the committee has previously scrutinized educational work for overlap with existing ecosystem resources, even at a lower requested amount.

Using Zcash in an internet freedom crowdfunding campaign — approved. The Tor Project requested $250,000 for a privacy and internet-freedom crowdfunding campaign in which Zcash would be a primary donation option. [10][11] The documented committee discussion considered lower funding levels, and the grant record shows $50,000 in startup funding paid; that record labels the grant completed. [11][13] Relevance: it shows committee willingness to fund communications or community-facing Zcash exposure where there is an identified distribution context and audience. However, completion/payment status is not proof of adoption, audience conversion, or broader impact; no such outcome evidence is supplied. [13]

6. Material risks and execution considerations

Value-for-money risk. The proposal requests $15,000 for six articles. The committee has already raised the concern that this may be significant cost for a limited number of outputs. [4] Without a budget, production assumptions, or audience plan, evaluators cannot assess whether the price reflects research, writing, editing, expert review, illustration, distribution, or other work.

Strategic-fit risk. Comparative coverage of FHE, MPC, and TEEs could clarify Zcash’s distinct role, but it could also produce broad privacy-industry commentary with limited practical relevance to the Zcash ecosystem. The committee explicitly raised this concern. [4]

Accuracy and reputation risk. The topics include technically and policy-sensitive issues—post-quantum migration, circuit failure, compliance, and selective disclosure. No documented expert-review or correction process is available. This is material because inaccurate explanations could confuse readers about Zcash capabilities or trade-offs.

Outcome-measurement risk. Publication is a readily observable output, but no grounded evidence is supplied for target readers, distribution commitments, engagement measures, reuse by community resources, or indicators of learning or ecosystem benefit.

7. Material gaps and questions for the applicant

  1. Please provide a one-page outline for each of the six articles, identifying the intended reader, the Zcash-specific question answered, and the practical takeaway.
  2. What prior Proof Street work demonstrates the applicant’s ability to explain cryptographic or privacy technology accurately to the proposed audience?
  3. Who will technically review each article, particularly coverage of Zcash protocol matters, post-quantum issues, compliance, and comparisons with FHE, MPC, and TEEs?
  4. Please provide a budget and milestone schedule, including payment amounts tied to proposed, drafted, reviewed, published, and distributed articles.
  5. What concrete audience and distribution commitments exist beyond Proof Street, and is a community-hub mirror already agreed?
  6. How will the series avoid duplicating ZecHub or other existing Zcash educational material, especially given the committee’s documented concern about overlap in a comparable educational proposal? [29]
  7. What measurable outcomes would demonstrate value beyond six published URLs—for example, readership among a defined audience, community reuse, citations, or developer/user feedback?

8. Neutral decision considerations

Factors supporting further consideration include a clearly stated six-part deliverable, an open-access publication model, and a topic set that could help articulate how Zcash differs from adjacent privacy technologies. [4][8]

Factors warranting conditions or clarification include the lack of supplied evidence for the applicant’s relevant portfolio, expert review, itemized budget, delivery schedule, distribution partners, and outcome measures. The committee’s existing concern is not merely procedural: it goes directly to whether the editorial scope produces Zcash-specific value proportionate to $15,000. [4]

Inference: A milestone-based structure tied to approved outlines, technically reviewed drafts, publication, and documented distribution could reduce delivery risk. Whether that structure is appropriate depends on the applicant’s answers to the questions above; this briefing does not recommend an autonomous approve-or-reject decision.

Zcash in the privacy stack

Approved

Applicant proposes a six-part long-form explainer series situating Zcash within the broader privacy-preserving computation landscape — comparing shielding to FHE, MPC, and TEEs, and covering sync/scaling bottlenecks (Tachyon, oblivious sync), post-quantum migration, circuit-failure implications, and the real limits of selective disclosure for compliance — published open-access on Proof Street and mirrored to a community hub like ZecHub. Requesting $5,000. Artkor: He updated his proposal. I had concerns with the broader original proposal because I was not sure how Zcash naturally fits into all of the proposed topics, but the applicant then revised it into a smaller standalone pilot with the budget reduced proportionally. On that basis, I support approving this revised pilot, mainly as an exploratory effort. I would like to see an experienced privacy-stack writer examine how Zcash may or may not fit into areas where it has not been widely represented or discussed. I don’t view this as a commitment to future work, but as a limited test of whether this perspective can be useful for the ecosystem. Paul: I’m inclined to approve it given the changes in scope and I agree with in general what Artkor just described. Gguy: I’m ok with that and I’d approve it too. Zerodartz: Yeah I’m ok to approve just as an experiment and see how the articles turn out. Probably a good idea for ZecHub to share these articles once ready for more attention. Hanh: I like the more technical approach to explaining Zcash without going too deep into mathematics. I approve too.

Zcash in the privacy stack

Remains open

Applicant proposes a six-part long-form explainer series situating Zcash within the broader privacy-preserving computation landscape — comparing shielding to FHE, MPC, and TEEs, and covering sync/scaling bottlenecks (Tachyon, oblivious sync), post-quantum migration, circuit-failure implications, and the real limits of selective disclosure for compliance — published open-access on Proof Street and mirrored to a community hub like ZecHub. Requesting $15,000. Artkor: I am still skeptical overall, mainly because this is a significant cost for a small number of articles. I also struggle to see the practical value of writing about Zcash in the context of topics where Zcash does not currently have a clear presence. That said, I do not want to make a final decision today. I will follow Hanh’s suggestion and take a closer look at the applicant’s existing articles before deciding. Zerodartz: While the articles might be pretty good the website itself is hard to find. So I’m guessing it’s not that known or might be actually so new that the number of readers might be very small. So I don’t see the value right now to fund this. Hanh: I’m leaning positive on this because the articles are different from the usual articles in the cryptocurrency space. They are well researched and they didn’t (obviously) use AI to generate the whole thing. That’s a fairly positive thing these days. I do agree that the website is new and the SEO seems to be quite poor. It’s practically impossible to find this website and I don’t think that there will be a lot of readers at this time. So my vote will be just to encourage people to write something of quality about Zcash. Paul: I would be willing to say no today because this doesn’t seem to me to be a lot different than many quality articles that are published on X and other places that I think are much more visible to the community and that this particular site and and this author hasn’t necessarily from what I can tell, you know, been active in the community providing resources already. It makes me question the value of this, like if there was maybe a track record of contributions already and then we saw something that was going to be significantly better or different than what had already been done, then maybe. But I would have expected to see just contributions already aside from grant funded contributions because there’s just a ton of people out there doing this for the community with no support. Hanh: Well the one difference between this guy and the other free stuff is that his articles are more technical. Others, are all about trading. Most of the other stuff is “Zcash is great in privacy and is going to go to the moon”. But I agree with you that it’s fairly niche.

Committee notes
